Do you charge fees as property manager?

No fee is charged for only listing your apartment with us. If you require more complete services, including the management of all bookings, invoices, cleaning, maintenance etc, then FamGroup will charge you a management fee. Call us for more info +1 (212) 470-0761.

I am an owner, how can I list my apartment(s) with FamGroup?

If you would like to list your apartment(s) with us, you can call us or send us a request via our website, one of our experts will get back to you shortly.

How can I extend my stay?

lf you decide to extend your stay, we require you to advise us at least 30 days before your lease expires for bookings over one month, and 15 days before the lease expires for bookings one month. FamGroup will send you a reminder at this time. Please be aware for any renewals, our fees will be applied again.

How/when do I get the key of the apartment? Do I have to return them?

If you have booked a luxury apartment with a 24h doorman, the key will be waiting for you at the apartment, you just have to pick it up from the doorman. lf the building doesn’t have a doorman, you simply provide your arrival time to your agent, who will then be waiting for you at the front door of the building with your key and all necessary information. To return the key, you can leave it with the doorman (where available), or leave it in the apartment. Rest assured that your agent will explain all of the necessary details to you during the booking process.

Who should I contact if a problem occurs in the apartment?

If you have a minor problem in the apartment, you can call us immediately, FamGroup is always available 7 days a week. If it’s an emergency call the local emergency hotline (911 in US).

Do you own the apartments you list on your website?

A selection of apartments are owned by FamGroup, but most of them belong to investors and management companies.

Are pictures, descriptions, videos and floor plans accurate?

Yes, the descriptions, pictures, videos and floor plans available on our website are 100% accurate so that you can make an informed choice with a good idea of what to expect for your apartment. We pride ourselves on providing only quality accommodation options and we want you to feel confident in the accommodation you are booking with us.

How often do you update your listing?

FamGroup listings are updated every single day.

What time should I check in/check out?

Check in is normally from 2pm, and check out at 11am. lf you arrive earlier and the apartment is ready at that time, you can move in immediately. However if it is not yet ready, you are welcome to leave your luggage and come back when the apartment is ready for you. Similarly, if you would like to have a later check out and the apartment hasn’t been booked that day, you are welcome to stay longer. Either way we will always find a way to make your stay as convenient and comfortable for you as possible.

Do I have to set up the utilities (electricity, cable TV, internet)?

The utilities are already set up unless otherwise specified.

Are the apartment fully furnished?

We offer a range of furnished apartments for rent, supplied with everything you need for your stay, just bring your suitcase and make yourself at home.

What means of payment do you accept?

We accept credit card, wire transfer, certified check, money order, and cash.

Do you charge a fee/commission?

Yes, For short term apartment rentals we charge a fee:

  • Up to 2 month | Half month rent
  • 3 to 4 month | One month Rent
  • 4 to 6 Month | One month and half
  • 6 to 12 Month | 20% of the rental cost

For unfurnished apartments in New York, we charge 15% for rentals in summer and only one month’s rent for rentals in winter.

For sales our fee depends on the specific arrangement with each seller and purchaser.

How I can book with FamGroup?

Most of our apartments can be booked online, however, where specified, for some apartments you should contact us via email or telephone on the details provided to organize booking. The booking process simply involves the completion of a few documents. We are open from 8am-9pm, 7 days a week.

How far in advance should I book with FamGroup?

We recommend you book at least 30 to 60 days in advance so that you have the widest selection of options to choose from and you can take advantage of our better deals. (Which can make it less expensive for you!)
